• All articles MUST be in season and in excellent condition. Clothing must be freshly laundered, unwrinkled and free from stains, rips, etc.  Toys, furniture, books, etc. will be accepted at discretion of Sweet Potato Pie. 

• No more than 20 items per visit. Consignments will be accepted Wednesdays and Saturdays only.

• Each consignment period is for 8 weeks.  After 4 weeks, if the item has not sold, it is marked down by 50%. 

• If you wish to take back any unsold  item(s) you may do so at any time prior to the end of the 8 week period.  At the end of the 8 week period any unsold item(s) become the property of Sweet Potato Pie.  It is your responsibility to pick up your item(s) – WE DO NOT CALL YOU.

• When you fill out your contract you must choose to either (1) CONSIGN/CASH and receive 40% of the selling price in cash (issued via check) or (2) TRADE and receive 50% of the selling price in store credit.  If you choose to CONSIGN/CASH you may pick up your check after the 6th of each month at Sweet Potato Pie (one check per month). If you choose to TRADE, your store credit is available as soon as your items begin to sell.

• Store credit is good towards all clothing and consignment items in the store except new items (such as Green Toys) handmade boutique and/or artisan items and items from the Book Garden.

• If a consignor account is inactive for one year, the consignor balance will be forfeited.

• Sweet Potato Pie assumes no liability for loss of or damage to consigned items for any reason including, but not limited to, fire, theft or water damage.
